What is the Mercer Island Boys Soccer Booster Club?

We are a separate entity from the ASB.  We are a 501c3 made up of volunteers.  We are a volunteer organization that oversees team finances and assists the Coach / team members and families with communication, event planning, program coordination and logistics. We exist to promote and supplement the MIHS Boys Soccer program by providing opportunities to build community, support coaches, and provide gear and equipment that our teams would otherwise go without. 

How do you raise money?

Our primary source of raising money is through our annual ask at the beginning of the season. 

 

For the 2025 season, all team members are requested to pay the Booster Fee of $250 per player.

This Spring we have the following fundraising activities:

  • Mother’s day flowers – pre-selling bouquets and the boys will deliver the weekend before Mother’s day

Of course we gladly take donations as well.  All donations are tax-deductible. If your company matches your charitable donations, please remember to submit your support of MIBSBC

What do these funds go towards?

Great question!  While we are fortunate to reside in such a place as Mercer Island, there are many areas that tax dollars just don't cover!

  • Equipment replacement and upgrades.

  • Website, TeamSnap, and Veo.

  • Assistant Coaches.

  • Team Gear

  • Coaches Gear

  • Scholarships

  • End of year Awards

  • MIFC Night

  • Senior Night

  • Game Programs

  • Posters and Calendars

  • Website Maintenance

  • 501c3 fees and insurance

  • Additional bus transportation to/from games as needed

  • Other miscellaneous expenses not covered by ASB fees
